1. And though I speak with tongues of men and yet I have not love,
And though I am as sound - ing brass, a sound not heard a - bove,
Love nev - er fails or seeks its own, a trea - sure for your youth.
Love suf - fers long and love is kind, re - joic - es in the truth.

 

2. And though I have the gift to teach and un - der - stand all things;
And with great faith, the moun-tains move, yet lit - tle oy it brings.

3. And though I give to feed the poor, but love I have not found,
And give my bod - y to be burned, yet still my hands are bound.
