Identify from Map 1 where you are approximately located. You will then need to get to one of the following hiways:
Hiway 36 ---comes from Boulder in the NW quadrant of the map. Only Louisville
is showing.
I-25 ---major NS interstate hiway located in the middle of the map
I-70 ---major EW interstate hiway located in the middle of the map
I-225 --this hiway only runs between I-70 in the east to I-25 in the south
Another option is C-470 but on the east side of Denver (from I-25 in the south)
this hiway turns into toll road. I would avoid this hiway except on the west
side.
Look at the map and see which hiway looks like it will take you toward the "Baker Community Center."
If you go (from Map 1) to I-225 then you need to head north to I-70, but if you are toward the south end of I-225 then go south to I-25. If you are on C-470 on the west side then head north to I-70.
Once you get to one of the four hiways shown on Map 2 you need to:
If you are on Hiway 36 you need to get to the red arrows off of hiway 36 on
Federal St. Take the exit for South Federal.
Follow Federal and turn right at either 67th Ave. or 64th Ave if you miss 67th
Ave. Both 67th and 64th Avenues have traffic lights.
Go west (towards mountains) to Irving St.
Take a right (north) about 1/2 block to 6755 Irving or coming from 64th Ave. you
go north to 67th and then another 1/2 block to 6755 Irving.
If you are on I-25 and north (top of map) of hiway 36 then travel to hiway 36 and go west (towards mountains) and take the south Federal St. exit. Go south to 67th or 64th as outlined above.
If you are south of I-70 then follow the instructions given next, but if you are in-between Hiway 36 and I-70 you need to go to either one and follow the instructions above or below.
If you are on I-70 then head towards Federal St. The red arrows are Federal. You go north to 64th Ave. or 67th Ave. Both of these intersections have a traffic light. Turn left on either street and go west about 3 or 4 blocks to Irving St. Turn right and go to 6755 Irving.
Avoid I-76 at this time. When you become familiar with the area you can check this out.
If you are on C-470 on the west side you need to head toward I-70. This can be a little tricky as you need to be careful or you will make the wrong decisions. If you take the correct route you will end up on I-70. Follow the instructions above for I-70.
